Paradise Valley is a mixed land use area. Agriculture predominates.
The Pray Post Office area rentals
Vacation rentals are springing up like weeds. Housing for workers is non existent . Housing is a major issue for employers and their workers.

The sign over the road says Paradise Found. 6 small rental units are going it. Perhaps the sign should read Paradise Lost.
Old Barn, new development
A new sub-division at the Arrowhead School contrasts with the old barn and house. The character and land use is changing the environment of the Paradise Valley. Water and septic are going to be challenges too.

Faux Old Chico movie set
Locals call the Movie Set...Faux Old Chico. Bright lights at night and lots of dusty traffic are changing the the landscape around Old Chico.

Back water slough's provide water recharge and great habitat for critters and birds. Spawning ground for fish as well.

Old Chico and Emigrant Gulch
This is the only Gold that we want in Paradise Valley. Commercial gold mining up Emigrant Creek will change the creek and the Yellowstone River and the people of the Paradise Valley who depend on clean water.
Fall Golden Color on Emigrant Creek.
Way back in those hazy mountains is where they want to mine gold. Not a good idea. Lots of sulfides to break down rock that will release pollutants into the waters of Paradise Valley.
